2. Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez has some more bad news for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Lopez writes:
I hate to be the bearer of more bad news, but I've been gathering up the results of polling at the 10 schools that for the last year have been under the mayor's wing, and there's no way to sugarcoat this.3. At eight of the 10 campuses, the mayor's Partnership for Los Angeles Schools got a resounding thumbs down from teachers.

I think Gov. Sanford's wife knew all along what was going on. If he truly was missing, several federal agencies would have been looking for him. She never sounded desperately worried about his whereabouts. I even wonder if the "affair" was even with this alleged woman ... I think there's a lot more to the story and it's quite shocking.
Haha the gov used the same "hiking" excuse as a guy I know. He tells his wife he's hiking, hunting or off-roading hundreds of miles away and will be back in a few days (when he's only about 45 minutes away in his mistress' apartment). NOBODY hikes, off-roads or hunts alone unless they have a death wish. Guess someone's going to have to come up with a new excuse.
