FitzSimons named to Media General board
Dennis FitzSimons, former CEO of Tribune Co., and the man who helped engineer the sale of the company to Sam Zell, has been appointed to Media General's board of directors.
Media General owns the Tampa Tribune, Richmond Times-Dispatch, and Winston-Salem Journal, as well as community newspapers inVirginia , North Carolina , Florida , Alabama and South Carolina.
