I used to deliver the Daily Breeze in Palos Verdes Peninsula (before it became "Rancho Palos Verdes") in about 1970-71. It was sad to see this slide show. Thank you.
The real sad thing is how these out-of-town jack-asses are just destroying all these local papers simply because of their greed. It's not the economy that killing papers stupid, it's incompetent owners and leaders.
nice. really.
you can tell the photog is sad about the whole thing.
can't wait for the photos and story about lang shuttering all their blighted properties.

Well said. Having been witness to the Singleton Way since he raped the Pasadena Star-News, PT, et al ... I just don't know what to say. When Tompson sold to him, we did some research on our new owner and read with fear the "Toasted Posties" Web site. Every word, every story told by those folks so many years ago ... it's just the same thing with Deano over and over and over ...
I am heartbroken.
You know...you could have waited a couple of months until the whole LANG tanks to use that song...or maybe Metallica's "Fade To Black" would be a better fit...
Seriously, though, nicely done...!
