Maybe old news to some, but, the genius suits at BANG have suspended vacation accurals yet again. Revenues aren't quite what was budgeted and even though we are doing better than our peers, blah blah blah...Are you all scarecrows? Does one among you have a brain? Advertising revenue will not be back to levels near what you would like. In fact, my guess is that they will continue to diminish. Manage your business and stop trying to take your short comings out on the workforce. Nice of them to allow you to take what you have earned though.
I spent a dozen years in newspapers, as a reporter at the Claremont Courier, Pasadena Star-News and LA Daily Journal, and as political editor at the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper Group. I served for three years as a producer for Warren Olney's "To The Point" and "Which Way, LA?" at KCRW, and recently took the position of news director for the station.
