Layoffs at the LA Times*

I'd heard rumors of another round of layoffs at the Los Angeles Times and now comes word, via LA Observed, that the axe has begun to fall today. Tina Daunt, who wrote the paper's Cause Celebre column, acknowledged that she got fired today after 20 years on the job.
