Comings and goings

God Blog author and former LANGer Brad Greenberg is heading to UCLA Law School. In a Friday post, he says he plans to keep up with the blogging even as he studies the finer points of contract law and civil procedure in the Fall.

LA Observed notes that Las Vegas Sun reporter Alexandra Berzon, fresh off her Pulitzer Prize win, will head west to join the Wall Street Journal's Los Angeles bureau. Last month, Drex Heikes, Berzon's editor on the four-part series that won the award, announced that he would be leaving the Sun to take over as editor-in-chief of the LA Weekly in August.

Speaking of LANG, if what I hear from a few sources within the ranks your blog is now blocked. It appears that the powers in charge have a difficult time with criticism and leaks In true journalistic fashion, they have decided to silence employees at work. Apparently, leadership hasn't figured out that people have personal computers and phones to contact you.

It must be great to be the watchdog of LANG.

Lang is still in business? That's good for those who are still there, but not good in general.

LANG is not blocked, we are still finding out details here faster than than the company can "memo" us!

Glad to hear the rumor about the site being blocked was apparently in error. Although, a handful of employees agreed it was blocked.

It would seem foolish at best to block information that people could get easily.

The fact that management seems to discuss this site often and doesn't like it is good.

Keeps them honest, just like a free press.

The problem seems to be with the browser that is being used. I can access the blog with firefox but not with i.e.

There does appear to be a problem with Internet Explorer. I'll try to fix it tonight. I don't have any reason to think the site has been blocked.

The blog should work on Internet Explorer now. Turns out I had a problem with some duplicated script. Let me know if anyone has further problems. Thanks.
