More bad news for the Times

The Los Angeles Times killed the California section and decided to lay off 70 additional editorial workers all in one day. LA Observed has the latest here.

You forgot to add the price increase. Zell is a moron.

I noted the price increase in an earlier post that is linked to in this post.

Anyone wanna make any predictions on what the Times will look like in 10 years? Five years? Next month?

Now the Times are going to water down the paper, like most of the competition did earlier. LANG's inland papers(Star-News, SGV Tribune, WDN, The Sun, Daily Facts, Daily Bulletin) and eventually the Press-Telegram and Daily Breeze had already watered down or reduced the Monday and Tuesday editions. What's next up? Raise the price on Sundays? Water down the Monday and Tuesday editions of LA Daily News? Water down the OC Register even more?
