Nice to see someone from the Old Guard management logging in his above comment - pointless and useless as it is.

Although in a perfect world I'd like to see non-profit news in the USA, the model for it has little or no precedence in the U.S.

What we do need is serious dialogue among liberal patriots on forming new publishing ventures as corporations or cooperatives (non-profit or not) and redefining American daily print journalism.

Singleton, Zell and the others of their ilk have certainly shown us what business models NOT to follow.

I see our friend Renfield checked in with the first comment. Too bad we can't get any real debate on issues, and isn't it interesting that Lambert and his minions still feel the need to attack me in a post in which I said nothing about them.

These people are sick.
