Swag

Want a keepsake of Tuesday's historic election? SGVN* has photos of its Wednesday front pages for sale on its websites. Choose between the Pasadena Star-News, which had Barack Obama with 338 electoral votes to John McCain's 141; the Whittier Daily News, which had him up 338 to 156; or the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, which had the race at 349 to 144.

*Looks like all the Southland Singleton properties are cashing in. In addition to front pages, you can buy mugs, mouse pads, t-shirts and magnets.

Singleton math.

You could blame the varied EV totals on press deadlines. Whittier goes to bed first, then Pasadena, then the Tribune. However, the McCain totals add an interesting wrinkle. He appears to have lost 15 votes between Whittier and Pasadena and then earned three back between Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley. The Obama totals make sense - Whittier went to bed before North Carolina was called.

Make that Indiana, not North Carolina.

Just FYI The Press-Telegram had a re-print of election the front page and the Lead photo was in Black and White. Oops another excuse another LANG employee.

frankly, who cares about singleton other than if you are unlucky enough to have landed at one of his uh "newspapers"

Any circulation increase over the election days will quickly be history and next year the excuses will start that we had the election to go against.

The organization is a bad joke.
