Nice "Win one for the Gipper" entry Eddie wrote on his blog. But we're all a bit too tired of hearing it. But if Eddie wants, he can send it to Steve, Frank and Nicole. They live for speeches like that.

Eddie isn't a bad guy, and he still works for these people. What else should he say?

Barrera's posting reminds me of those at The Daily News' own "The Paper Trail". That happy-go-lucky may make you look good to the bosses, but eventually, they will get you too....

That writing is almost word for word what was said by the big wigs at the Friday funeral... I mean restructuring meeting. Original indeed.

So, Eddie, you need to "encourage and listen to our reporters," huh? What if the reporter is saying "Don't fire me"?

Groan.... If I didn't know him better, I'd swear he was all sunshine and lollipops when he wrote this. But I do know him better and I'm surprised he stopped screaming long enough to write it.

Screaming or crying? The only time he screams is to chastise a writer or to get his view point across without letting others speak.
