Comings and goings
One that slipped under my radar: Rod Leveque, long-time courts reporter at the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and the San Bernardino Sun, is the new online editor for the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper Group (Pasadena Star-News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune and Whittier Daily News).
It's not an easy task replacing someone with eight or so years of courthouse rapport. Those are some difficult shoes to fill. Rod will be missed.

Rod was an extremely solid courts reporter who had developed a lot of contacts.

Now who is going to cover courts in the west end of the county?
I think they were holding off on this announcement, hoping that Moe the chimp would be found and they could hire him for peanuts. Or bananas.
